FALL FESTIVAL

Dear Families,
Fall Festival is this coming Friday. Each grade level is responsible for providing a basket to put in the auction. This year the second grade classes have chosen CHANDLER’S SPIRIT as the theme for our basket. We thought this would be a great way to promote Chandler’s School Spirit by filling the basket with all things Chandler’s. The cheerleaders are currently selling t-shirts and pullovers which would be great items to place in the basket. We realize that you may not want to purchase items alone, but if you would be willing to send in a few dollars to go toward the purchase of these items your help would be greatly appreciated. Other items we hope you may include are basketball season tickets for a family, Chandler’s seat cushions, anything purple and white which could include candles or bows. Cookbooks from community churches or organizations would also be great to include in our Chandler’s Spirit Basket! As of today, we have not received anything for our basket.
Second grade is also selling chances to win a $100 gas card! You may have seen raffle tickets in your child’s take-home folders. Chances for the gas card raffle tickets are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00. This was a HUGE fundraiser last year. It allowed the second grade classes to purchase items for our classrooms and students throughout the school year. Please help us in promoting the sale of these raffle tickets. It is your child who will benefit from the money collected. Also, the person selling the most tickets and the winning ticket will each get a cash prize. All proceeds from these raffle ticket sales go directly to the second grade classes. The money is not divided among all classes as it is our primary fundraiser.
On Friday, during fall festival, we will also have a lollipop tree set up as our game. We are in need of volunteers to run this booth as we will also be selling raffle tickets the night of fall festival.
If there are any other ways in which you can help to make our fall festival a success we would love to have your help!
